Lock Your Heart :)

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim :)

I always lock my doors before going outside . I believe all of us do the same to protect our valuable properties from thieves . We have seen people with more than 3 locks on the door and some also have a specialized integrated alarm system against forceful entry ! Some also have 24 hours live monitoring built in the house .

It is quite pathetic when we use so many locks in order to safeguard some belongings . But , we have little or no locks at all in ourselves to safeguard our iman from shaitan and evils of this world . This iman , which is more precious than any material thing , needs more protection than our belongings .

Iman enters into us in four ways , unfortunately it leaves through the same ways . They are our ears , eyes , tounges , and our hearts . We should make sure that we use them in a way that ALLAH is pleased .

May ALLAH bless us and may we die with iman in ourselves . In sha ALLAH , ameen . Assalamu'alaikum :)

Thank Allah ! :)

Assalamualaikum w.b.t :)

I'm gonna share an article that I've copied from maestrouzy . Enjoy , and I beg you , please take the ibrah if you found it :)

A blind boy steps of a building with a hat by his feet . He held up a sign which said : "I am blind , please help." There were only a few coins in the hat .

A man was walking by . He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat . He then took the sign , turned it around , and wrote some words . He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words .

Soon the hat began to filled up .A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy . That afternoon , the man who changed the sign came to see how things were . The boy recognized his footsteps and asked , "Were you the one who changed my sign this morning ? What did you write ?"

The man said , "I only wrote the truth . I said what you said but in a different way ."

What he had written was : "Today is a beautiful day , and I cannot see it."

Do you think the first sign and the second sign were saying the same thing ?

Of course both signs told people the boy was blind . But the first sign simply said the boy was blind . The second sign told people they were so lucky that they were not blind . Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective ?

"It is He , Who has created you (the sense of) hearing (ears) , sight (eyes) , and hearts (understanding) . Little thanks you give ." [Surah Al-Mukminun: 78]
